We’re gearing up for our benefit in New York City on April 12, and, as part of the festivities, the performance artist Maria Jose Arjona (who performed her piece Vault at Ballroom Marfa in 2003) will contribute a new work, which requires a custom chair. Master craftsman Rob Crowley is installing the piece, as well as building the chair — and using Marfans around town to get the fit and sizing correct. Maria Jose Arjona is 5′ 3.5″, so we went on the hunt for the proper model. Check out Ketzia, Javier, and Lorna all trying out the chair.
