Ballroom Marfa hosted Quintron and Miss Pussycat for an intimate performance in Marfa.

Quintron and Miss Pussycat’s wildly distinctive performances combine rock concert, puppet pageantry, and dance party into a single exhilarating experience. Quintron has developed a unique blend of dance-swamp-synth-pop and rollerskating-organ-electronica centered around his own invention, the drum buddy (a 4-oscillator, light activated, mechanically rotating drum machine). His raucously lo-fi cacophonies take audiences on mysterious and magical adventures that could only be inspired by the maddening beauty of Quintron & Miss Pussycat’s hometown, New Orleans. Meanwhile, Miss Pussycat’s equally distinctive puppet shows incorporate a cast of anthropomorphized misfit animals whose lives take fantastic and often violently-dramatic twists.
