Ballroom Marfa and our community partner The Friends of the Marfa Public Library presented THE NEXT READ: Marfa Reads The Poetry of Robinson Jeffers. This was the third annual One Book/One Community program in Marfa sponsored by The Friends and Marfa ISD.

At the Robinson Jeffers Poetry Slam all community members were invited to read their favorite Robinson Jeffers poems aloud in a fun cafe atmosphere. The event was be hosted by Master of Ceremonies Jennie Lyn Hamilton and included many special guest readers. Copies of Jeffers’ poetry were available at the slam.
