Ballroom Marfa presented a survey of Sarah Morris’s film installations in the South Gallery. Known for her graphic and abstract paintings of architecture and urban design, Morris has also explored the dynamics of urban space in four film works made since 1998. The exhibition at Ballroom Marfa is the first time these rarely-seen films Midtown, AM/PM, Capital, and  Miami have been shown together. These urban filmic portraits stand in stark contrast with the vast landscape of West Texas.
