The Bike-In: Carbon Nation
Marfa, TexasBallroom Marfa is hosting the second Bike-In, which promotes a healthy lifestyle by encouraging all attendees to bike or walk to the event. For the next outdoor screening on Thursday, November 15, beginning at 7:30PM, we will screen Carbon Nation, a documentary about the solutions to climate change, relating directly to the themes in the current visual arts exhibition, Carbon 13.
Book and a Movie: “The Godfather”
Marfa, TexasBallroom Marfa and the Marfa Public Library are proud to present the second installment of Book and a Movie, a program highlighting novels that have been adapted for film. The book and film selected for November is The Godfather, written by Mario Puzo in 1969 and adapted for film by Francis Ford Coppola in 1972.
